The igbag Metered Discharge System is a multi-station automation system designed to enable the collection of various bulk raw materials on a single line within industrial production facilities, and their automatic, dynamic and precise metering and discharge in accordance with pre-defined production recipes.
As can be seen from the system architecture, it consists of robust modular steel frames arranged in a linear configuration side by side, allowing multiple large-capacity big bags to be connected to the system simultaneously and operate in a coordinated manner.
Principle of Operation: Big bags positioned at each station using upper carrier rails and safety suspension hooks are connected pneumatically or mechanically to the leak-proof discharge hoppers at the bottom. Based on the production recipe selected via the main PLC automation panel, the system manages, down to the millimetre, exactly how much product needs to be drawn from which raw material source at which station:
Dust-Free and Environmentally Friendly Operation: The sealed body structure to which the big bag openings are attached prevents raw materials from escaping into the external environment during the discharge of volatile and dusty materials, thereby maximising both operational cleanliness and health and safety standards.
