Industrial Storage Systems
Hygienic, Cost-Effective and Modular Solutions for Raw Material Management
Production efficiency in industrial facilities is directly linked to the correct storage and dosing of raw materials. SRD Machine bunker and silo systems are designed to meet product requirements in sectors such as food, chemicals and plastics under optimal conditions in terms of hygiene, economy and quality. With their space-saving square design and customised design options, they offer the most efficient storage solution for your facilities.
Feeding and Integration Methods
SRD Machine silo systems offer various feeding options tailored to your facility’s logistics infrastructure:
Silo Bus Inlet: The product can be transferred directly into the silos via a silo bus connection using compressed air.
Manual Bag Discharge: Manual feeding can be carried out under operator control via bag discharge units.
Controlled Feeding: In both methods, the product’s entry into the silo is carried out in a controlled manner using a rotary valve and compressed air support.
Maturation and Process Flow
The holding times required for the product to develop its characteristics, particularly in certain food and chemical processes, have been optimised within the system:
Maturation Process: Depending on demand, the product can be held in silos for an average of 3 to 7 days for maturation.
Vibrating Discharge: The matured product is transferred into the system without clumping or blockages via vibrating silo discharge units with fluidised beds.
Pneumatic Transfer: Product flow within the system is carried out without manual handling, using compressed air generated by compressors (pneumatic conveying).
Structural Options and Customisation
Storage solutions manufactured under the SRD Makine guarantee can be customised to suit the physical conditions of your facility:
Shape: Square or cylindrical design options.
Material: Galvanised steel with high corrosion resistance or stainless steel for full hygiene.
Design: Fully bespoke solutions tailored to the required capacity, production area height and positioning options.
