The Big Bag Discharge System is a modular discharge station that enables businesses to transfer bulk raw materials in powder or granular form (such as PVC, sugar, cement, chemicals, etc.) delivered in big bags (FIBCs) to subsequent process lines, silos or bunkers without spillage or loss, in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Operating Principle: The big bag is lifted using an integrated monorail hoist or forklift and positioned onto the discharge cone on the platform. After the bag opening is secured and released using a pneumatic cylinder mechanism that prevents dust leakage, the flow of raw material is initiated. During discharge, massage devices and vibrators—controlled via a PLC panel—periodically agitate the bag from below to prevent blockages, particularly with difficult-to-flow materials. Whilst the integrated filter collector completely prevents dust dispersion into the environment, the discharged product is safely conveyed to the target line via the helical conveyor or pneumatic conveying systems at the lower section.
