Closed-Type Screening Machine (EXTREME571); cereals and nuts, combining pre-cleaning, precision cleaning and grading (classification) processes in a single unit; it is a new-generation, PLC-automated, enclosed-chamber screening system capable of processing challenging products that traditional screens struggle to clean with 100% efficiency, whilst completely eliminating the product’s hectolitre (density) issues.

Working Principle: Designed to bring product quality and hectolitre density to the exact target value, the machine synchronously manages a combination of mechanical screening and intelligent air suction (aspiration):

• Air-Suction Pre-Cleaning (Entry Stage): The raw material entering the machine is first distributed evenly across the screens via a distribution mechanism. Using the vacuum created by the extractor fan in the upper hopper, light dust, husks and foreign matter within the product passing through two independent suction points are separated from the main mass before they even reach the screen surface.
• Multi-Stage Screening and Grading (Tray Stages): The product, having completed pre-cleaning, is transferred to modular screens located in the upper, middle and lower trays. Thanks to the screen variations in the upper and middle trays, coarse debris, large foreign matter and broken grains are screened out with precision. In the lower trough, the product is classified into two different sizes (under-screen and over-screen) according to its calibre.
• Separation and Hectolitre Optimisation (Output Stage): The products separated by size in the lower vessel are directed to four independent separation channels, the most distinctive feature of the series. A total of six air intake points and ten smart flaps controlled by a PLC adjust the volume and direction of the air with millimetre precision. Thanks to these smart flaps, weak, partially filled or low-quality grains are completely vacuumed out of the system. Flawless control of the air flow ensures that the final product is bagged at the exact desired hectolitre value with zero error.
