De-awner Machine; a high-efficiency pre-processing machine designed to remove the awns from wheat, barley, oat and vegetable seeds, peel and clean the husks, and separate clumped grains without damaging the product.

Working Principle: The machine operates via the mechanical impact and friction effects of the agitator shaft within a specially designed tank:

• Mechanical Impact: Round or square-pinned beaters on the agitator shaft gently separate the awns and husks from the main grain.
• Precise Process Control: A two-stage RPM adjustment and an infinitely adjustable lower scraper mechanism allow the processing intensity to be adjusted with millimetre precision according to the raw material.
• Robust and Durable Construction: Thanks to its bolted sheet steel body, it operates quietly and without vibration. Replaceable wear plates extend the body’s service life whilst providing additional friction surfaces.
