Seed Coating Machine: a fully automatic system designed for the agricultural and food sectors that coats the surface of seeds, nuts and similar granular products with liquid pesticides, nutrients or powdered protectants with high precision, in order to protect them against pests, fungal diseases and external factors.
Working Principle: The integrated weighing hopper inside the machine weighs the product and deposits it onto a rapidly rotating disc. The seeds gain momentum on the disc due to centrifugal force and friction, continuously rotating and tumbling on their own axes. During this movement, a precision dosing pump sprays the chemical or protective agent drawn from the liquid tank onto the seeds in a homogeneous manner. A powder screw, which can be integrated into the system as required, adds powdered materials to the disc in the desired quantity and time, providing a composite coating. The entire process is managed fully automatically via a PLC screen, and once coating is complete, the product is discharged from the system via a pneumatic valve.
