Stone Separator: This is a high-efficiency cleaning and quality-enhancing machine designed to separate heavy foreign materials—such as stones, soil, glass and metal—which are the same size as the product but have a different specific gravity, from dry-grained agricultural products such as cereals, pulses, sesame, cumin and seeds that have undergone preliminary cleaning and grading, at a capacity of 5 tonnes per hour.
Working Principle: The product is conveyed to the main machine via an elevator. The 100% dynamically balanced table at the heart of the machine is continuously vibrated by an eccentric motor system. This controlled vibration is accompanied by a pressurised air flow from the lower air supply motors, which is precisely adjusted via manual dampers.
Through the simultaneous effect of air and vibration, the product layer remains suspended in the air (fluidised bed principle) and separates into layers according to density. Clean seeds with a low specific gravity are carried forward by the air flow into the bagging chute, whilst heavy materials such as stones, glass, metal and soil climb backwards along the incline of the table and the direction of the eccentric movement, and are discharged via the stone discharge chute. At the same time, thanks to the machine’s high-vacuum (aspiration) feature, light debris, husks and dust within the product are sucked up and removed from the system.
